The Accounts of the Union Government of India (Provisional/Unaudited) for the Financial Year 2018-19 has been consolidated and reports published. The highlights are given below:- The Government of India has received ₹ 16,66,055 crore (91.40% of corresponding RE 18-19 of Total Receipts) during 2018-19 comprising ₹ 13,16,951 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), ₹ 2,46,219 crore of Non Tax Revenue and ₹ 1,02,885 crore of Non Debt Capital Receipts. Non Debt Capital Receipts consists of Recovery of Loans (₹ 17,840 crore) and Disinvestment of PSUs (₹ 85,045 crore). ₹ 7,61,454 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India in this period which is ₹ 88,449 crore higher than the previous year. Total Expenditure incurred by Government of India is ₹ 23,11,422 crore (94.07% of corresponding RE 18-19), out of which ₹ 20,08,463 crore is on Revenue Account and ₹ 3,02,959 crore is on Capital Account. Out of the total Revenue Expenditure, ₹ 5,82,675 crore is on account of Interest Payments and ₹ 1,97,066 crore is on account of Major Subsidies. |
