Assistance to States for Infrastructure for Exports
Department of Commerce is operating Assistance to States for Developing Export Infrastructure and Allied Activities (ASIDE) scheme with the objective to involve the States in their export effort by providing assistance to the State Governments/ UT Administrations for creating appropriate infrastructure for the development and growth of exports. State Level Export Promotion Committee (SLEPC) under Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of the State approves the project to be taken up under the State Component of the scheme as per approved purposes of the scheme.
Under the scheme allocation to States / UTs is made by Department of Commerce on the basis of an approved allocation criteria as lump sum amount and not sector-wise. Details of state-wise funds released during last three years are annexed.
