Frauds in DDCA

The Government has received complaints from Hon’ble Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha) regarding the affairs of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) alleging manipulation of records, financial or otherwise, improper conduct of Annual General Meetings, irregular purchases injudicious spending of funds and payment of honorarium against the provisions of the Articles of Association, etc.

Inspection of the books of accounts and other records of the company has been ordered under Section 209A of the Companies Act, 1956.

This information was given by Minister of State for Corporate Affairs Shri R.P.N. Singh in reply to a written question in the Lok Sabha today.
