Global crude oil price of Indian basket declines to US$ 108.50/bbl on 22.10.2012 |

Press Information Bureau Government of India Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas 23-October-2012 12:21 IST The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas fell sharply to US$ 108.50/barrel (bbl) on 22.10.2012. This was lower than US$ 110.62/bbl on the previous trading day’s figures of 19.10.2012. In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 5823.20 per bbl on 22.10.2012 as compared to Rs 5942.51 per bbl on 19.10.2012. This decline was result fall in crude oil prices in dollar terms and also contributed by the marginal of rupee appreciation with rupee-dollar exchange rate on 22.10.2012 at Rs 53.67/US$ against Rs 53.72/US$ on 19.10.2012,.
