Mr. Dipankar Majumdar is an advocate, based out of Kolkata, having 10+ years of experience in advising and representing clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums located in Kolkata and neighboring locations.

His key area of practice involves indirect tax and civil commercial litigation and advisory. He regularly advises and represents clients in respect of GST laws, legacy IDT laws (e.g., VAT, Service Tax, Central and State Excise), Customs Law, Foreign Trade Policy; resolution of disputes arising out commercial contracts of various nature ranging from deficiency in goods/service, recovery of payments, specific reliefs, insurance related disputes, etc. before various Courts including the Civil and Criminal Courts, NCLT, High Courts, arbitral forums and various other forums.

Mr. Dipankar Majumdar completed his B.A. LLB from Army Institute of Law, Mohali in 2013 and since then he has been associated with prestigious organizations such as Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, Attorneys, KPMG, Athena Law Associates, inter alia. In such organizations he had the opportunity to work with the largest public and private business houses to provide litigation and advisory services relating to above stated laws.

Currently he is providing advisory and litigation services to clients operating in various sectors such as EPC contracting, government construction projects, electricity transmission, manufacturer of foundry materials, manufacturer of specialty chemicals, service providers in the travel, tourism and hotel industry, real estate developers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, etc.
