I purchase a developed plot and then construct a duplex on it with my own money or loan money. After that I sell it out to customer ,do I have to charge gst on my sale price. If you charge whole amount after occupation certificate and occupation of house, whichever is earlier, it is exempted.
It is necessary that occupancy certificate should be of date before 1st of July i.e. before implementation of GST or Completion Certificate can be taken after . July also. Then also i exempted
This condition remains the same whether pre-GST GST era or post GST era.
If it is a completed house, there will be no gst.
