TDS ON SALARY BY GOVERNMENT DEDUCTORS |

Is there any exemption or provision available to government deductors for considering the period as March to February while issuing form 16? Or do the have to mandatorily follow April to march as everybody else? Posts / Replies Showing Replies 1 to 2 of 2 Records Page: 1
There is no provision in Income Tax act for considering the period for issue of FORM 16 as March to february for Government deductors.
I think even now the Government is paying March Salary in first April, which will be coming in the next year for income tax purposes. Page: 1 Old Query - New Comments are closed. |
