Dear Sir / Madam

Manufacturer with AEO holder shall apply the Advance Authorisation license under para 4.06 FTP 2023 by self-ratification basis (General cargo not prohibited / restricted ). The export product does not having the SION. Please advice

Have a look at para 4.06 of FTP - which provides for self-ratification scheme

Where there is no SION/valid Adhoc Norms for an export product or where SION has been notified but exporter intends to use additional inputs in the manufacturing process, eligible exporter can apply for an Advance Authorisation under this scheme on self-declaration and self-ratification basis.

1. Entities certified by the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) can participate in this scheme.
2. Export products that do not have a fixed Standard Input Output Norm (SIOZ) are eligible for this option.
3. Exporters (manufacturers/merchants) can choose this facility to access additional input, even if norms are fixed, based on self-declaration and self-ratification.
4. Submission of the application with a Chartered Engineer certificate is required.
