cenvat credit |

We are the manufacturers of Pharmecutical formulations. We get inputs from original manufacturers as well as dealers. Some times we get the input invoices directlly from the manufacturer on behalf of the dealer mentoning the dealer's/ buer's name and consignee's name. 1) Is it right that the manufacturer is showing both names in invoice. 2) Is it right that the consignee is avialing the cenvat credit. Please let us have your view's and suggesstion's if any.

Dear Sir, If seller mention names both of buyer and consignee, then consignee can take credit of cenvat invoice. Their will not be any problem for taking cenvat credit.
good evening mr. aravindakshan,
1. Since the buyer and the consignee are different, the supplier is right in showing the addresses of the said two parties 2. Cenvat credit should be taken when the goods arrive at the premises 3. Since the goods have gone directly to consignee, consignee can take cenvat credit 4. Dealer has to raise an invoice for collecting his money With best wishes,
Ramaiah swamy
