GOVINDARAJAN - Central Excise - Dated:- 4-10-2008 - - The Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 made the Central Excise (Appeal) Rules, 2001 ('Rules' for short) vide Notification No. 32/2001-CE (NT), dated 21.06.2001 . These rules came into effect from 01.07.2001.
