Section 108 of the Companies Act, 2013 provides the option to vote through e-mode in a general meeting. And according to Rule 20 of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014 , every listed company (with its equity shares listed on any recognised stock exchange) and having not less than 1000 shareholders is mandatorily required to provide an option for e-voting.
