Import Authorization for Low Ash Coke: Apply by Jan 12th with 3-Year Data, Get Quarterly Quota Based on Production Capacity.

The DGFT invited applications from 1st to 12th January 2025 for obtaining import authorizations for low ash metallurgical coke subject to country-wise quantitative restrictions from 1st January to 30th June 2025. Applicants must file country-specific applications with import data for past 3 years, current year imports, production capacity, and actual 2023-24 production. A Special EFC will allocate quantities, which cannot exceed the authorized amount per quarter, except for adjustments. The DGFT shall review utilization after the first quarter and may revise allocations based on actual imports. Misrepresentation will disqualify applicants. The DGFT reserves rights to modify procedures.
