The CBIC rescinded Circular No. 29/2020-Customs regarding transhipment of export cargo from Bangladesh through Land Customs Stations (LCSs) to Ports/Airports, effective immediately. Existing cargo previously entered into India will be permitted to exit Indian territory following the original circular's procedural guidelines. The rescission impacts transhipment protocols for export cargo movement, with provisions for managing in-transit consignments to ensure smooth regulatory transition.
