2004 (7) TMI 360 - HC - Companies Law

The High Court of Calcutta admitted a winding-up petition for a claim of Rs. 5 lakhs due to non-payment of a dishonoured cheque. The company has been given the option to pay in 24 monthly instalments, failing which the creditor can take legal action for recovery. The company was not represented in court, and the case was disposed of with no costs awarded.
