Summary

The Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to hear appeals against orders passed by Additional Collectors under the Gold (Control) Act. Appeals should be sent to the Collector (Appeals) for disposal. Other similar appeals pending in the South Regional Bench should also be sent to the Collector (Appeals) to avoid conflicting orders. The Chairman, Central Board of Excise & Customs, should be informed of this decision.
