Statutory appellate remedy availability - Held that - In view of the fact that statutory appellate remedy is available, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Number of questions of facts and law would arise which can always be raised before the appellate authority. In a taxation matter, when levels of appeals are provided under the statute, we would be extremely slow in by-passing such appellate remedies and directly exercising writ jurisdiction. Keeping all the contentions of the petitioner open, this petition is therefore dismissed.

Summary
