C460 Alloy Steel (other than Stainless Steel) Bars Rods (including Rounds, Flats, Wire Rods etc.), Angles, Shapes Sections (including special profiles): 1 tonne 1 Billets/Blooms of relevant grade of alloy steel OR 1030 kg Ingots of relevant grade of alloy steel 1050 kg 2 CI/ Steel Rolls, TC Rolls, Rings for Rolling Mill 0.60 Kg. for Billets/Blooms input OR 1.20 Kg. for Ingot inputs 3 Relevant fuel for fuel fired Re-heating furnace 2,61,000 K. Cal. 4 Relevant Fuel for electric power generation for Hot Rolling Auxiliaries(for units with captive power plants/source only) 2,17,500 K. Cal 5 Relevant Shear Blades, Saw Blades 0.01 Kg. Note : Note 1: The quantity of energy sources/ fuel for electric power generation (i.e 2,17,500 K.Cal) which is based on a power consumption norm of approx. 100 KWH per tonne of export product has been allowed assuming that Captive Power Plant (CPP)/Source of at least this capacity exist. In case CPP/Source in a given unit is of lower capacity, quantity of fuel to be allowed for import will be reduced on pro rata basis. Note 2: Quantity of fuel for re-heating furnace (in K.Cal.) corresponds to a fuel having unit heat value 8700 K.Cal/kg. for which, 30 Kg. of the said fuel may be allowed. Import of any other fuel of higher/lower unit heat value (as long as it is relevant to the re-heating furnace installed in the unit) may be permitted, quantity of which (in Kgs./ Cubic Meters/ K. Liters) may be worked out by dividing the K.Cal. figures in the SION by the actual unit heat value of the imported fuel.
