Rule 50 - Affidavit verifying list of creditors. - Company Court Rules, 1959Extract Affidavit verifying list of creditors. 50. Such list shall be verified by an affidavit made by an officer of the company competent to make the same, who, in such affidavit, shall state his belief that the list verified by such affidavit is correct, that the estimated values, as given in the list, of the debts payable on a contingency or not ascertained, or of any claims admissible to proof in a winding-up, are just and proper estimates of the values of such debts and claims respectively, and that there was not, at the date fixed by the Judge under rule 48, any debt, claim or liability which, if that date were the commencement of the winding-up of the company, would be admissible in proof against the company except the debts, claims and liabilities set forth in such list and any debts, claims or liabilities to which the enquiry does not extend, and shall state the source of his knowledge or information and the grounds of his belief regarding the matters deposed to in such affidavit. Such affidavit shall be in Form No. 22 with such variations as the circumstances of the case may require.
