Regulation 1 - Short title, commencement and interpretation. - Companies Regulations, 1956

Companies Regulations, 1956 [1] [Notification No. SRO 432B, dated 18-2-1956] In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25, sub-sections (1), (2), (3), (5) and (8) and section 609, sub-section (2) of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations, namely: PART A Preliminary 01. (i) These Regulations may be called the Companies Regulations, 1956. (ii) They shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
