Amendment of section 295. 59. In section 295 of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (2), with effect from the 1st day of April, 2016, (i) clause (ee) shall be renumbered as clause (e) and after clause (e) as so renumbered, the following clause shall be inserted, namely: (ee) the matters specified in Chapter X-A; ; (ii) after clause (eec), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: (eed) remuneration of Chairperson and members of the Approving Panel under sub-section (18) and procedure and manner for constitution of, functioning and disposal of references by, the Approving Panel under sub-section (21) of section 144BA; .
