Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Rules of (Determination of Origin of Goods under the Agreement on South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA)), 2006

[ Notification No. 75/2006-Cus., (N.T.), dated 30-6-2006 ] RULE 1 : Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Rules of Determination of Origin of Goods under the Agreement on South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA), hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement", between the Governments of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) Member States comprising the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Republic of India, the Republic of Maldives, the Kingdom of Nepal, 1 [the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka] (2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of July 2006. --------------------------- Notes :- 1.
