Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Customs, Excise & Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (Procedure for Appointment as President) Rules, 2016

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21 st January, 2016 G.S.R. 101(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 129 , read with sub-section (1) of section 156 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Customs, Excise Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (Procedure for Appointment as President) Rules, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
