Regulation 67 - Appeal to the Central Government - Securities and Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 1999Extract Appeal to the Central Government 1 [67. Any person aggrieved by an order of the Board made, on and after the commencement of the Securities Laws (Second Amendment) Act, 1999, (i.e., after 16th December, 1999), under these regulations may prefer an appeal to a Securities Appellate Tribunal having jurisdiction in the matter.] ************* NOTES:- 1 Substituted by the SEBI (Appeal to the Securities Appellate Tribunal) (Amendment) Regulations, 2000, w.e.f. 28-03-2000. Prior to its substitution the regulation read as under: 67. Any person aggrieved by an order of the competent authority or the Board under these regulations: (a) suspending the certificate of registration; or (b) canceling such certificate; or (c) issuing directions under regulation 65 may prefer an appeal to the Central Government against such order, in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India ( Appeals to Central Government) Rules, 1993.
