CHAPTER V PROCEDURE FOR INSPECTION Board s right to inspect. 19. (1) Where it appears to the Board so to do, it may appoint one or more persons as inspecting authority to undertake inspection of the books of account, other records and documents of the stock brokers for any of the purposes specified in sub-regulation (2). (2) The purposes referred to in sub-regulation (1) shall be as follows, namely :- (a) to ensure that the books of account and other books are being maintained in the manner required; (b) that the provisions of the Act, rules, regulations and the provisions of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, and the rules made thereunder are being complied with;
