Income-tax Settlement Commission (Procedure) Rules, 1976 NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.458 ( E ) DATED 5-7-1976 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 245F of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Income-tax Settlement Commission hereby makes the following rules, namely :-- 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax Settlement Commission (Procedure) Rules, 1976. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
