Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Foreign Exchange Management (Non-debt Instruments) Rules, 2019

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17th October, 2019 S.O. 3732(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (aa) and (ab) of sub-section (2) of section 46 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , and in supersession of the Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer of Issue of Security by a Person Resident outside India) Regulations, 2017 and the Foreign Exchange Management (Acquisition and Transfer of Immovable Property in India) Regulations, 2018 , except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:- CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY 1. Short title and commencement :-(1) These rules may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Non-debt Instruments) Rules, 2019. (2) Save as otherwise provided in these rules, they shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
