5. Medical fitness of President and Members. ( 1) No person shall be appointed as President, Judicial Member or Technical Member (Centre) of the Principal Bench or the State Bench of the Tribunal or as Technical Member (State) of the Principal Bench unless he is declared medically fit by an authority specified by the Central Government in this behalf. (2) No person shall be appointed as Technical Member (State) of the State Bench of the Tribunal unless he is declared medically fit by an authority specified in this behalf by the State in which the said State Bench is located.
