2. Definitions (1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-- (a) Act means the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003) ; (b) Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Commission appointed under Sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Act; (c) Commission means the Competition Commission of India established under Sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Act; (d) Form means a form specified in the Schedule to these Rules; (e) Member means a member of the Commission appointed under Sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Act. (2) All other words and expressions used in these rules but riot defined, shall have the same meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
