Investment Deposit Account Scheme, 1986 [G.S.R. 945(E), dated 15-7-1986 ] In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 32AB of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Gov ernment hereby frames the following Scheme, namely :— Short title and application. 1. (1) This Scheme may be called the Investment Deposit Account Scheme, 1986. (2) It applies to all the assessees who are eligible for the deduction under section 32AB of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), other than the assessees carrying on the business of grow ing and manufacturing tea in India.
