Section 129 - Amendment of section 3 - Finance Act, 2003

Customs tariff 129. Amendment of section 3. - In section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) (hereinafter referred to as the Customs Tariff Act), in sub-section (2), in clause (ii), for the words, brackets and figure "but not including the duty referred to in sub-section (1)", the following shall be substituted and shall be deemed to have been substituted retrospectively on and from the 1st day of March, 2002, namely :- "but does not include - (a) the special additional duty referred to in section 3A; (b) the safeguard duty referred to in sections 8B and 8C; (c) the countervailing duty referred to in section 9; (d) the anti-dumping duty referred to in section 9A; and (e) the duty referred to in sub-section (1)".
