Subject:- Memorandum of association ‑ Whether zerox copies of memorandum or articles of association can be accepted for the purposes of registration of companies The question of allowing zerox copies of memorandum and articles of association has been carefully examined in the Department. Since there is a specific requirement introduced in our Act, unlike the English Act, requiring the memorandum and articles of association to be printed, there is no justification for watering it down by allowing zerox copies to be filed for the purposes of registration of companies.
