Revision of Form Nos. 24B, 25A and 26 prescribed under the Companies (Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, - Companies Law - Circular : No. 10 of 1990,Extract Circular : No. 10 of 1990, dated 28-5-1990. Subject:- Office or place of profit - Prohibition against director holding ‑ Revision of Form Nos. 24B, 25A and 26 prescribed under the Companies (Central Government s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, for making applications to the Central Government under sections 314(1B), 269/198(4)/309(3)/311/387/388 and 310/311/388 of the Companies Act, 1956. I am directed to say that the formats for making applications to the Central Government under sections 314(1B), 269/198(4)/309(3)/311/387/388 and 310/311/388 of the Companies Act, 1956, have since been revised, vide Notification GSR No. 510(E), dated 24th May, 1990, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated 24th May, 1990, with a view to facilitating expeditious disposal of the subject applications by the Central Government. The intention is that once the applications are made in the revised formats, duly completed in all respects, there may not be any need to call for any additional particulars from the applicant companies. 2. You are requested to advise your constituent‑companies to adopt the revised formats which will come into force with effect from 1st August, 1990. It may be ensured that complete particulars are furnished in the applications and, any additional information, not covered in the formats, is furnished by the applicant companies in their covering letters.
