Diamond bulk licences-HDCL/MMTC can import upto 1.5 times of rough diamonds imported in preceding year Public Notice No. 7/(RE-97)/1997-2002 dated 22nd April, 1997 In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), 1997.2002: - 1. At the end of Paragraph 8.22, the following shall be added: - "However, for HDCU/MMTC the value of the bulk licence shall be 1.5 times of the total value of rough diamonds imported by them, against the bulk licence(s), in the preceding licensing year".
