In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-11 Section 3-Sub-section ~ii) vide S,O. No.283 (E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures, 1997 -2002, Vol. 1. 1. In Para 8.14(a) of Chapter 8, HBP vol. 1, S.No. 5 shall be added as: Any overseas company with its branch office in India with an annual average turnover in diamonds during preceding three licensing years not less than As. 150 crores.
