Amendments/additions/corrections in DEPB rates realted to Engineering product group PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 27/2004-09 Dated 01/12/2004 In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ additions/ corrections in the "Schedule of DEPB rates":- I - Product Group: Engineering Product Code: 61 (i) The description of the export item at Sr.No. 497 is amended to read as "Thin-walled Engine Bearing Bushing and Thrust Washers in Steel Backed Copper Based High Tin Alloy F-780/SP/H24/GS25/G-41/SQE-49". (ii) The following corrections are made against entry at Sr.No.530 and are effective from 06.10.2004 Sl.No. Export Product DEPB Rate (%) Value Cap 530 Deleted 530A Identifiable ready to use machined parts / components made wholly or predominantly of Alloy Steel (not less than 90% by weight) manufactured through Forging process, not elsewhere specified 10 Rs.175/Kg 530B Identifiable ready to use machined parts/components made wholly or predominantly of Stainless Steel (not less than 90% by weight) manufactured through Forging process, not elsewhere specified 10 Rs.400/Kg This issues in Public Interest.
