Amendments in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 24/2007 Dated 23/07/2007 In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I : 1. Paragraph 2.20.1, relating to 'Corporate Guarantee' shall be amended to read as under: "2.20.1 A Status holder or a PSU may also submit Corporate Guarantee in lieu of Bank Guarantee/LUT in terms of the provisions of relevant Customs Circular in this regard. In case of a group company, if one company of a Group is a status holder, Corporate Guarantee may be given for another company by this company, which is not a status holder". 2. Sub-para 3 of paragraph 2.33 of Handbook of Procedures Vol.I stands deleted. This issues in Public interest. (R.S.
