Public Notice No. 8/2008 dated 16-7-2008 Laptop computers — Declaration of details on import All the Importers/Exporters/CHAs are requested to declare all the details of Laptop Computer such as Branded/Unbranded/Model/ Type/Specification, etc. at the time of filing the Bills of Entry in the relevant fields of Description/Brand/Model/Type/Specification failing which the goods will be treated as misdeclared in terms of quality/model type where effect the valuation of the goods and rendered the goods liable for confiscation under Section 111(m) of Customs Act, 1962.
