Telephone: 2427397 email: [email protected] TRADE NOTICE No.3/AM 2012 DATED .13.07.2011. Sub:- Monitoring of Export Obligation in respect of EPCG Authorizations. Attention of the Trade and Industry is invited to Para 5.9 of Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I, 2009-2014 , which stipulates that the Authorization Holder shall submit to RA concerned by 30 th April of every year, a report on fulfillment of export obligation . It is observed that the above provision has not been adhered to by the EPCG Authorization Holders and in the absence of this report, this office is not able to monitor the fulfillment of export obligation by the EPCG Authorization Holders effectively. Hence, it has been decided to scrupulously follow this provision henceforth and EPCG Authorization Holders, who have been issued EPCG Licences/Authorizations from 01.04.2010 to 31.3.2011 are required to forward this mandatory report on fulfillment of export obligation to this office in the format given below:- Sl.No. File Number EPCG Licence/Authorization Number Date Export obligation stipulated Export obligation fulfilled EO done towards fulfillment of Annual Average up to 31.3.2011 Rupees USD Rupees USD All EPCG Authorization Holders were required to file this report latest by 30.04.2011 but now may file the report latest by 29 th July 2011 and failure to comply may invite appropriate action which may include denial of further Authorizations. Attention of Trade is also invited to Para 5.3.1 of Hand Book of Procedures , according to which the licensee is liable to file installation certificate issued by Central Excise/Chartered Engineer, as the case may be within (6) six months from the date of completion of imports. Trade is also requested to comply with the above Para along with copies of related bill of entries within the stipulated period without fail. Trade and Industry is requested to kindly comply.
