Ltd. -reg It is notified for information to all concerned that M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. having its registered office at M-23, 3rd Floor, Menzies Aviation Bobba Cargo Terminal, Bangalore International Airport Limited, Devanahally, Bangalore have sought renewal of permission granted vide Public Notice No. 09/2011 dated 12/05/2011 in terms of Board's Circular No. 69/99-Cus dated 06/10/1999 to operate bonded trucking for import trans-shipment cargo as an authorized agent for airlines mentioned in the table below from the Customs bonded transshipment warehouse of Delhi International Airport (P) Ltd., Air Cargo Complex, I.G.I. Airport, New notified Air Cargo Complexes (ACCs) within India by road. T ABLE- Sl. This permission is for a period of three years as stipulated under CBEC's Circular No. 69/99-Cus dated 06/ 10/ 1999 read with Circular No. 61/2000- Cus dated 13/07/2000 from the date of acceptance of Bond subject to the conditions stipulated below:- a) M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. shall scrupulously follow the procedures prescribed in Section 45 read with Chapter VIII of the of Customs Act, 1962 , the Goods Imported (Conditions of Transshipment) Regulations, 1995 and the Customs Circular No. 69/99-Cus dated 06.10.99 (as amended) read with circular No.61/2000-Cus dated 13.7.2000 . b) M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. shall execute a running bond (equivalent to the value of goods) alongwith a Bank Guarantee of apropriate amount with the Deputy Commissioner of Customs (Import Shed), Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi in terms of various CBEC's Circulars/Instructions, especially Circular No. 56/2000- Cus dated 05.07.2000 for the proper accountal of cargo. The amount will be debited from the bond when the transshipment cargo is taken by the custodian and it will be credited when the proof of handing over the cargo to the Customs at final destination is produced. The custodian will be responsible for any shortage or pilferage of the cargo. The submission of Bank Guarantee has been waived in the light of CBEC Circular no. 24/2006-Cus Dated 25/08/2006. c) M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. will insure goods for its full value as well as the Customs duty and all other levies involved and shall submit insurance documents in respect of Bonded Goods and revalidate it from time to time. d) The responsibility for accountal of goods shall be with M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. who shall be responsible for shortage, if any, in the goods arising during transit and will be required to pay the amount equal to Customs duties, cess and other levies involved, alongwith applicable interest. e) M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. shall furnish the list of trucks with their registration numbers, that will be used for movement of each trans-shipment cargo, to the Deputy/ Assistant Commissioner of Customs (Import Shed), Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi. The trucks containing goods for transshipment will be sealed with Customs bottle seal in the presence of Custom Officer before movement of such trucks take place. f) M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. and the Airlines are required to adhere to Export/Import Policy, Custom Act, 1962 and all other allied Acts in force and enacted/ amended by the Government from time to time in this regard. g) M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. shall pay the cost recovery charges for the Customs officers and staff provided for the aforesaid purpose whenever demanded/due. h) M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. shall produce satisfactory proof of their Authorized Agent Status to the Deputy/ Assistant Commissioner of Customs (Import Shed), Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi. i) The relevant Bond, Bank Guarantee, Service Agreements and Insurance should be kept in currency at all times. 3. Now, in pursuance of the power vested in me under section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962 , I, S. R. Baruah, Commissioner (Import), New Custom House, New Delhi, appoint M/s Shreeji Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. as the Custodian of the Import Cargo of the Airlines mentioned in the TABLE in para-I of this Notice to be transshipped under Bonded Cargo Trucking Facility from the transshipment warehouse of Delhi International Airport (P) Limited, Air Cargo Complexes, I.G.I. Airport, New Delhi to the Customs notified Air Cargo Complexes (ACCs) within India by road. (S.R. BARUAH) Commissioner (Import)
