Introduction of New Modules- User manuals for EDD, SEZ SB, Bond Recredit- reg. - Customs - 26/2015

Attention of all Importers/ Customs Brokers/Officers is invited towards user manuals for three modules. The new modules have been implemented in ICES.v.1.5 Systems for EDD payment, Bond Recredit Module dor Sea-Sea Transshipment and SEZ SB Verification Module. 1. Extra Duty Deposit Payment. One of the longstanding request is implemented in ICES. An option is provided with Appraiser to generate s separate challan for EDD invoice-wise. Appraiser will have option to select 1% or 5% of assessable value. The e-payment facility is available for this challan. EDD amount paid will be reflected in view BE and BE Print for future reference. Check is also placed not to allow OOC pending EDD payment. EDD challan if wrongly generated may also be cancelled, if not already paid. 2. Bond Re-credit Module for Sea-Sea Transshipment: Sea-Sea Transshipment module has been introduced and is functioning successfully in many seaports. A facility of Bond Recredit on successful transshipment is made available in Gateway port for recredit. This facility similar to ICD recredit. This is in ACT Role. 3. SEZ SB Verification Module: SEZ related consignment when received from SEZ for Export, the Allowed for Export has to be given in the system using this option in PREV OFF role. It also has option to enter the container details of export, if received in bonded truck. AWB./Rotation no. can be added/modified.
