Public Notice No. 6/Cus/97 Dated 30/07/1997 Petrapole Land Customs Station specified as Customs area for loading or unloading of export/import goods Attention of the exporter, Customs House Agents and all others concerned is invited to the fact that Commissioner of Customs, west Bengal has been pleased, by virtue of powers vested in him under Section 8(a) of Customs Act, 1962 , to approve the under mentioned areas as specified in the following Schedule for loading and unloading of export/import goods subject to the strict observance of relevant provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 and other instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time and also determine the limits of such place as specified in Col 3 of the said Schedule to which the provisions of the said act shall apply. SCHEDULE Sl. No. Name of the L.C.S Area 1. Petrapole Land Customs Station East : Enclosed by International Indo-Bangladesh border along Mouza No. 264 of Petraple. West : Enclosed by wall running along Mouza No. 264 South : Enclosed by backside wall running at a distance parallel to the NH 35 along Mouza No. 264 of Petrapole North : Enclosed by Section of NH-35 running parallel to the front wall of Integrated Complex and of as much length as the front wall of the Complex is, along with the vacant space between NH-35 and front wall of the Complex The four sides thus cover Mouza No. 264, Khasra No. 354 of JL No. 112 and Section of NH-35 in frong of the Integrated Complex at Petrapole.
