Appointment of Custodian of Imported Goods - Customs - 110/90

Public Notice No. 110/90 Dated 17/12/1990 In pursuance of the powers vested under section 45(1) of the Customs Act 1962 (52 of 1962) I, A.K. Chhabra, 1 [Commissioner], Customs and Central Excise, Hyderabad hereby approve M/s. Container Corporation of India Limited, (as the operator of the containers and Cargo) located at the Inland Container Depot (ICD) Sanathnagar Railway Station, Goods Complex, Hyderabad, as custodian of all imported goods and containers at the Inland Container Depot (ICD) until they are handed over to Central Warehousing Corporation. 2. I also approve M/s Central Warehousing Corporation (as the Operator of Container Freight Station located at Sanathnagar) as custodian of all imported goods from the time of taking charge of the containers and goods from the Container Corporation of India Limited, in the Inland Container Deport (ICD) till the goods are cleared for home consumption or for warehousing or for transhipment and till the containers are handed over back to the CONCOR in the Inland Container Depot (ICD). 3.
