From 03/02/2016, there shall be no hand delivery of any Category of Documents to the Exporters/Importers at this Office Counters. 2. All correspondences including Authorizations/Deficiency letters shall be dispatched by Sped Post only. 3. In matters where there is an absolute necessity or great urgency, the Exporter/Importer may approach the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade along with the ID card issued by this office. This Trade Notice is being issued herein to facilitate trade and with an explicit objective of streamlining the procedure for issue of documents by this office in line with the Trade Notice No. 14/2016 of the Director General of Foreign Trade HQs. Support from Exporters /Importers Community is requested to make this arrangement to succeed and ensure that the functioning of this office is transparent. (S.
