Recently, this office issued notices regarding Personal Hearing/Recovery of excess entitlements on account of audit objections. settlement of export obligation etc., but many letters were received back undelivered. It may be because of change of address not reported by the firms. In order to ensure a fair opportunity to the Trade and Industry before initiating any further action under. this office has started sending such messages including contacting JDGFT, Pune Office through the ' INBOX ', mechanism as well. Trade and Industry is therefore requested to look at such communications regularly and contact this office in case of non-receipt of any physical communication. In case no contact is established even after this 'Inbox' message. this office will proceed further for necessary action under FTDR Act, in accordance with the facts available regarding the case. Co-operation of Trade and Industry is solicited to facilitate finalization of such type of old cases. Trade and Industry is also requested to get their changed address updated in the IEC record to avoid any hardships. (CHANDRAKANT M.
