Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Customs House Agents, Customs Brokers and other members of the Trade is invited to earlier Public Notice issued by the combined Customs Commissionerate regarding payment of service charges and applicable rate of service Tax. 02. In this connection it is brought to the notice all concerned that Directorate General of Systems and Data Management, Customs and Central Excise, New Delhi has awarded the contract of operating Customs EDI Service Centres to M/S Xeam Ventures Pvt, Ltd. and also revised the service Charges. 03. The new rates of Service charges applicable with effect from 01-10-2015 as per the agreement entered with M/S Xeam Ventures Pvt, Ltd are as under: I - MAXIMUM SERVICE CHARGES FOR DIGITISATION OF DOCUMENTS AT SERVICE CENTRE For manual documents getting data entry done at Service Centre: SI. No. Description Rate/ Amount 1 Bill of Entry /Shipping Bill having up to five items ₹ 80 2 Each Additional Block of five items ₹ 10 3 IGM ₹ 80 4 EGM ₹ 80 5 Other documents (such as DAB, Transshipment etc.,) ₹ 80 6 Amendments to original declaration by customer in BE/SB/Other Queries (including reply feeding) Nil - for 3 queries and ₹ 10 for each query thereafter. 7 Printing check list Nil 8 Printing of assessed documents (SB/BE/OOC/LEO/Challan etc) Nil 11. MAXIMUM SERVICE CHARGES FOR 'RES' DOCUMENTS ICEGATE or another manner of Remote EDI filing SI. No. Description Rate/Amount 1 Printing of Document ₹ 30 [for the first 50 pages and ₹ 10 for every 10 subsequent pages or parts thereof (documents refers to the set of papers, which get printed in one command at any stage of processing)] 2 Query Printing ₹ 10 3 Amendments fee to Bill of Entry (for block of five items) ₹ 20 4 Amendments fee to Shipping Bill (for block of five items) ₹ 10 5 Amendment fee - Each Additional block of five items ₹ 10 6 Amendment fee - Other documents ₹ 10 7 Printing check list Rs.10 Note:- The above charges are excluding Service Tax and any other taxes. The vendor shall collect the service tax from trade at the prevailing rates and shall make the payment of the Service Tax to the Govt. exchequer. 04. M/S Xeam Ventures will collect the Service Charges for the services provided at EDI Service Centre and the applicable Service Tax from the users. The revised charges for processing documents through EDI system would come into effect from 1st of October 2015. This issues with the approval of Principal Commissioner of Customs. (K.V.
