Date : 15.10.2015 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 18/2015 Subject:- Procedure on granting of Entry Inward and Entry Outward-Reg. Attention of the Steamer Agents, Importers, Exporters and Customs Brokers is invited to various P.N.s/Circulars/Instructions issued by Custom House, Visakhapatnam on the above subject. 2. The following procedure is prescribed for grant of Entry Inward and Entry Outward for vessels berthing in Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT), Visakhapatnam for smooth and speedy clearance of cargo: 3. While boarding a vessel, the concerned section officer shall verify the last port clearance and ILH dues of the vessel, ascertains the berthing time from the master of the vessel and shall sign the Entry Inward/Entry Outward applications of the concerned vessel lying with the Steamer Agent. 4. The entry inward/outward applications shall be brought by the Agent's representative to the Jubilee Gate immediately. Based on the said applications, the Main Gate Officer, posted at Jubilee' Gate shall feed the entry inward/outward details and grant Entry Inward/Outward in the EDI System with his own SSOID. 5.
