Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents/Liners/Consul Agents/Vessel Operators/Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC)/Terminal Operators (M/S. Chennai Container Terminal Limited (CCTL) and M/S. Chennai International Terminals Pvt Limited (CITPL), Custodians of all Container Freight Stations/lnland Container Depots, Chennai Port/Kamarajar Port/Kattupalli Port Officials and ail others concerned are invited to Public Notice No:111/2014 dated 28.07.2014 regarding scanning import containers at the Mobile Scanner Facility at Chennai Port. 2. In Para 1 of the said Public Notice it was inter alia stated that the effective date of commencement of operation of Container Scanning Division will be intimated shortly. In this regard all concerned are informed that the Container Scanning Division will commence from 01.10.2014 and accordingly, the Public Notice No:111/2014 dated 28.07.2014 will also be effective from the said date. 3.
