Certification/Updation of Carrier Agencies and CHA Directories for implementation in ICES 1.5 : reg. - Customs - 32/2012

Noting PUBLIC NOTICE NO : 32/2012 Dtd. 14.09.2012 Sub : Certification/Updation of Carrier Agencies and CHA Directories for implementation in ICES 1.5 : reg. Attention of all the stakeholders is invited to the Public Notice No. 08/2010 dated 12.03.2010, issued by this Commissionerate regarding the Verification/Updation of Carrier Agencies and CHA Directories , being carried out at ACC, Sahar, through which Console and Carrier Agencies were being registered. In order to streamline the procedure of registration and updation, the existing procedure in this regard has been reviewed in consultation with the EDI (Policy) Section in the Office of Commissioner of Customs(Import), New Custom House, Mumbai. Since the EDI Section, New Custom House, Mumbai has been designated as the Policy Section for registration and updation of records for the Mumbai region as per Public Notice No. 08/2010 of 12.03.2010, it has been decided that all future registrations shall be handled by EDI Section, New Custom House, Mumbai. All the firms/persons wishing to register themselves as carrier agencies for operating at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai are hereby informed that hereafter applications may be submitted to EDI Policy Section, New Custom House, Mumbai directly.
