The trade and all concerned are hereby informed that the State Public Health Food Testing Laboratory, Imphal, Manipur, has been notified by the competent authority for the purpose of carrying out analysis of imported food samples by the food analysts under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Area of jurisdiction of State Public Health Food Laboratory, Imphal will be Eastern Region comprising of West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, A N Island, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland Meghalaya.
