VIII/48-13/Cus/Sys/2010 Date : 25/08/2010 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 44/2010 Subject : Procedure for clearance of Import, at all EDI ports of Ahmedabad Customs Commissionerate -regarding Attention of the Importers, Exporters, CHAs, trade and all other agencies concerned is invited to the Public Notice No. 28/2010, dated 07.05.2010 issued by the Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad regarding computerised processing of Import documents under Indian Customs EDI system for ICD-Sanand, and similar other public notices issued for all other ports from time to time: 2. Attention is further invited to para 6.1 (i) of the above mentioned Public Notice wherein, details of document docket containing description of documents to be presented at the time of registration of goods in Examination section, have been provided. In partial modification to the said list, after serial no. xiii, following is to be inserted; xiv. Identity proof of the representative of Importer and authorization issued by the company for filing documents on their behalf. 3.
